Actually you never cut the plenum like that! That’s what the white string is for that you never addressed. You simply grab the string and pull downward parrallel to the cable and it works great.

You did give some good information concerning noise on the cable. The whole cable is part of that performance the jacket core twist and wire gage Helps prevent EMI and RFI . Plus you also have interference on the cable NEXT alien cross talk and far end cross talk FEXT. A cable
certifier or validator will show you that. Sorry I do this for a living so I’m picky but pretty good for the occasionally crimper B+
