I bought the Ubiquiti US-16-150W a few weeks ago – fresh from the box and the official firmware update killed it. Good thing this was pre-client installation date.

you’ll need a UniFi Controller (can be installed on Linux or Windows Servers)
IMO the USG is missing a ton of features, if you come from an UTM or some other well-known Firewall Brand. Especially QoS and Webfilters for me.
I’m currently running (my Home & HomeLab) on an Sophos UTM (Hardware Appliance) + UniFi AP’s and US-16-150W + US-8 (the same you’ve got)
