I have a TP-Link 5-port gigabit desktop switch, just like the one you have but fewer ports. The bottom line – I have Comcast 25mbps internet and the switch…to power my internet on my computer AND a hard-wired ethernet to a DISH Network Wally box to receive the Weather Channel local forecast. My issue: BOTH the internet AND DISH box will NOT work at the same time. If she has her local weather forecast, my internet is down and Comcast has to send a signal to my modem to reset my internet. The DISH Wally box reads that the box needs to be connected to the internet. IT IS connected! The signal is not reaching both at the same time. Will you please give me your advice for the answer please?!!!! Thank you!
