I am trying to set up my new Wise Tiger router, and when I type the provided IP address into my web browser it asks for username and password, not just a password. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. Can anyone help with this?

Hello, every one, here is the way for installing router step by step set up.I hope it help you out.

1. Disconnect all the existing wifi router before your new Wise-Tiger wifi router installation. Next you would connect the new Wise-Tiger wifi router to the PC via LAN port by Ethernet cable, then plug in the power adapter to run the router

2. You will see a list of selection for wifi connection, select WIFI-XXXX-5G which would give you wifi signal from the new Wise-Tiger router, then you enter in browser and input the password: admin

3. At Connection type: select PPPOE, and enter the Username and Password which provided by your ISP, if you are unsure your username and password, please contact your ISP to obtain it

4. Create your own username and password. Once the setting is completed, you would connect the Wise-Tiger wifi router to the modem via WAN port by Ethernet cable.

5. If you had selected the PPPOE connection and it isn’t working, you may try to select another connection type: Static IP or DYNAMIC which is in the Quick Setting selection.

Rick Thomas says:
