The ASUS AC1300 Dual band WIFi router was a joy to setup and I was blown away by it’s performance compared to my old router. It literally tripled my speed for wired network computers and for the WiFi connected devises. With easy network management screen and I think a cool design this is a must have for any home network.

PROS:
– Affordable at only ~$70
– 4 Gigabit speed ports
– Easy initial setup
– Additional USB 3.0 network interface for external storage devises like a NAS or just a networked shared thumb drive that’s easy to set up.
– Subtle sleek design
– 4 2×2 5dbi antenna setup for extended wifi range
– Features MU-MIMO which supports both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz frequencies.
– Great GUI router interface
– Control network traffic, prioritization, set speed caps for different devises, easy parental controls.
– Great WiFi range for a medium sized home
CONS:
– Can’t really think of one, maybe it’s light weight so unless you screw it in place you will probably fight with the network cables to keep in place.

Hi, does it support Asus Download Master? I have read it in it´s manual.
I just ordered this and watched the video after i ordered 😀 Phew!
what would you recommend for a Wi-Fi extender for this router. thanks
just ordered this router on Amazon for 69.99
Can this be used as access point? Behaves decently?
hey sir, i was wondering if you might be able to help me with mind. i have been following those instructions. they are simple but i don’t know why i still can’t get a wifi setup. mine is an asus rt-acrh13. the web-based internet genie setup gives me problems at step two. i thought it as the router password but now i think it’s the modem password. when i complete step 3 it goes back to step two and i click next and it just stays on that screen. the little hourglass icon is going but it doesn’t do anything, no next page or anything. and if i try to use any website the page goes to a “trying to reconnect” screen with a picture of the router and a blue line and on the blue line a rectangle shape goes left and right. it will stay like that and won’t connect. help!
Hi nice bro, been searching for a review of this router. Hi, would this give us better WiFi connection over our current ISP router. We have 3 Xbox one’s in the house and get lag and connection drops all the time. So we’re looking for something that’s will give us better more stable connection, to stop lag/drops.
Please reply asap. Thanks
I’m using this Wifi router as access point – it’s OK – not good or bad…I would have bought the TP-Link Archer 7 AC1350 rather than this Asus RH13!
I had an old router as well and it died. It was a Mac router. I was very happy to watch this review to see this is what I need. THANK YOU.
