At 4:08 frame you show 5 different connectors. Are they all included in the box? When I watch other unboxing videos they show only US and UK adapters.
can i connnect it to a smart tv? and watch fullhd movies? or 4k movies?
great review thanks!
Good review but such short bursts of read and write tests doesnt really show much of the actual spinning disk speed, just how fast the cache on the drive is.
From what I read this drive has a whopping 128 mb cache since its a SMR disk, so a t least a minute of file transfering to really run in to the actual disk speed.
And before anyone buy this drive, know that its meant for archiving, not constant rewriting workload. Its a SMR drive, basicly a 6tb drive with a clever scheme to make it 8tb.
This is the worst product i ever bought. I loss my money. This product complaint every 6 month and i cannot clain warranty because buy from amazon and again this was complainted if any one planing to bought no one buy you will loss your mone because this is the 3rd time its complined And i loss my 1.5 tb data all and i didnt get any backup if any one bought please create backup on your computer that will better than this externel hdd iam using thoshiba hdd and transcend hdd still 5 year and that still working without any problum and that hdd never betraied me

Hi.. question.. i am going to be using this for archiving my business documents.. what happens if it were to break? Anyway to recover the data?
I’m gonna order two of these tonight!
stupid question, but can you plug in anything into the USB port? can you plug in a usb mouse? I have an old Microsoft surface with 1 USB port only
