Linksys CM3008 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Review

Setup works great! Has 8 downstream and 4 upstream channel bonding and rated for 100Mbps service. You can see status at http://192.168.100.1 to ensure proper operation. DOCSIS3.0 is a must now days as the old 2.0 modems are no longer supported. Instillation takes seconds. Instructions are simple. Just plug in and call cable co to provision with S/N and MAC address. Linksys is owned by Belkin.

I have a quick question. I’m trying to get a long range wifi through a satellite from one of my houses to another house that I own. Can I plug this into the COAX cable from the satellite that can receive my wifi from my other house?

Thinking about getting this for Comcast. It seems like a good price. My rented modem is pulling 239mbps down and 14mbps up. Can you recommend a router for it?

Eduardo Trujillo says:

No status page on Comcast, apparently their config file has a kill command so you cant access it.
