Great demo, it works, but I have run into a problem with this thought you might be able to help. When I change the IP address for the router (that I turned into a switch) I can no longer access the switch at the new IP, is that normal?

I tried this option for a week with my old Linksys dual band router as a new Access Point. Always this issue “The DNS server isn’t respondingThe DNS server isn’t responding, Your computer is trying to use a DNS server that is incorrect or doesn’t exist.”

Most of the time my internet disconnects in my laptop and on my most of the devices (or) most of the time I do not get internet via my main / primary AT&T router. I have to reset both the routers again to get my internet back. PLS SUGGEST WHAT TO DO…

thanks for the process so much, my router wan port was broken and i was able to use internet by this process but after somedays my lan first port got broken and when i changed the internet cable to port to second i was not able to use ?
how could i use the internet cable (rj45) in second port and use net, any way please.

Thank you for this video. I like this option. What I want to do: convert my old functional wireless N router into a switch in my office (so I don’t have to buy a new switch) to hard wire a desktop and then run a CAT6 cable from the newly created switch to relocate a new AC router in a more central location in my house. I only want one WiFi SSID in my house. believe your option will help me do this. Am I correct??
